1. Who we are
Couple Hamam Istanbul is a reservation and concierge service for private hamam experiences for two in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. The service is operated by Empire Concierge LLC · 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. 2. What we collect
- Reservation details: your name, the package you chose, the date and start time of your visit and any note you add (for example a celebration).
- Contact details: your phone or WhatsApp number (required, so that we can confirm your visit and reach you on the day) and your e-mail address if you choose to give it (optional).
- Pickup details: the name of the place you are staying in Istanbul, only if you ask for our complimentary pickup.
- Messages: the content of the WhatsApp and e-mail conversations you have with our concierge line.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and, only with your consent, advertising measurement cookies as explained in the cookie banner.
3. Why we use it
- To create, confirm, change or cancel your reservation and to answer your questions (performance of the contract you request).
- To share the details needed for your visit with the hamam that hosts you: your name, the package, the date and time and, if you asked for pickup, the name of the place you are staying and your pickup time. The hamam and the driver receive only what they need to welcome you.
- To send you reservation messages on WhatsApp or by e-mail: confirmation, a reminder the day before, your driver's details before a pickup and, after your visit, a short thank-you.
- To keep our records in order, to prevent duplicate or fraudulent bookings and to defend our legal rights (legitimate interests).
- To measure our advertising, only when you accept measurement cookies (consent).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
4. Who receives your data
- The hamam in Sultanahmet that hosts your visit and, for pickups, the driver assigned to you.
- Service providers that run our website hosting, our reservation records, our e-mail delivery and our WhatsApp messaging. They act on our instructions and may process data in the United States and in the European Union.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and the hamam is in Türkiye. Where European data protection law applies to you, transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on standard contractual clauses or on the necessity of the transfer to perform your reservation.
6. How long we keep it
Reservation records and the related messages are kept for up to 3 years after your visit for accounting, tax and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Conversations that do not lead to a reservation are kept for up to 12 months. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
The website works without cookies. Advertising measurement cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the banner link at the bottom of the page.
9. Children
Reservations are made by adults. Children from 6 years may join their parents in the private hamam; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes and contact
